ADG Awards

The Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Awards celebrate the creative achievement of directors in film, television and new media platforms. The recipients of the peer assessed Best Achievement in Direction Awards and the recipients of the Board assessed Lifetime Achievement Awards will be heralded at the Gala Night Dinner on Thursday September 10th, 2009 at the Astral Restaurant, Sydney.

Little Big Shots

ADG presents Best of Input Conference
Sydney, 11 - 12 September
The Australian Directors Guild have selected the best of the best from the international event "Best of Input" to run in a 2 day Input in Sydney. The screenings and discussions will be led by independent program makers from across all genres, and by commissioning editors from the ABC and SBS. Program makers and commissioning editors for the selected programs will participate in discussions either in person or via a video link, providing the opportunity for extremely high-level and open debate between program makers and commissioners.

World of Women - WOW Film Festival National Tour

This is a short film festival that promotes and awards the talents of women directors, producers, writers, editors and cinematographers in the Australian film industry and in Oceania. In the Bin Tour
2009
In The Bin has now toured to over 60 communities nation wide taking in places the likes of Cooktown and Coober Pedy, no place is too big or too small just ask Andamooka. The festival has created an Education Program to work alongside the touring festival where students create, shoot and edit their own short film within a three day period.
